CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 77-27
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE TEMPORARY EMPLOYMENT
OF CH2M AND HILL, CONSULTING ENGINEERS
WHEREAS, no repairs other than that of an emergency nature
have been done on the City of Seward Electrical Utility System in the
past ten years, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to have the deficiences of the current
electrical system identified and corrected if the system is expected to
continue functioning, and
WHEREAS, CH2M and HILL, Consulting Engineers, has submitted a
proposal to inspect the current City of Seward Electrical Utility and
design repairs to correct the present deficiencies with the fee for such
services estimated to be $27,500;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Seward, Alaska, that the City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into an
agreement with CH2M and HILL, Consulting Engineers, for the performance of
said Seward Electrical Utility inspection.
AND, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a sum not to exceed $27,500 shall
be appropriated from the City Electrical Utility fund to cover the cost of
the inspection.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA, this 25th day of July , 1977.
