CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 77-39
A RESOLUTlON ENLARGING THE LEASE OF CITY PROPERTY TO
KEITH L. AND DOROTHY KNIGHTEN
WHEREAS, the City did dispose of Lot One of Block One, Marina
Subdivision, by lease on the 1st day of June, 1968, to Keith L. and
Dorothy Knighten, and
\~EREAS, the lessee or his assign did construct a building which
encroached on Lot Eight of Block One of the Marina Subdivision, which was
adjacent to the said real property, and
WHEREAS, the area of the said Lot Eight, Block One of the Marina
Subdivision was and is owned by the City of Seward, and
WHEREAS, the City has earlier taken preliminary steps to include
the real property upon which the encroachment is located in the lease
covering the said real property, and
WHEREAS, the City desires to complete the inclusion of the real
property upon which the encroachment is located in the land leased on the
1st day of June, 1968;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council hereby finds
the land described on the attached "Exhibit A" to be not dedicated to any
public use.
AND, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the real property described in
"Exhibit A" is hereby included in the lease described above and is subject
to all of the terms and conditions of said lease.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA, this 26th day of September , 1977.
