CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 77-43
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT
WITH THE ALASKA RAILROAD
FOR POLICE PROTECTION
WHEREAS, on October 1, 1975, the City of Seward entered into an
agreement with The Alaska Railroad to furnish police protection to the
Railroad's facilities in the Seward area, and
WHEREAS, Contract No. 69-25-0003-4457 expired on September 30,
1977, and
WHEREAS, The Alaska Railroad wishes to continue the agreement and
has forwarded to the City Supplement No. 3 to the above-cited contract,
such Supplement which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference,
and
WHEREAS, the City administration recommends that the City Council
approve the execution of the Supplement to Contract No. 69-25-0003-4457;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Seward, Alaska, that the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute said
Supplement and forward such to The Alaska Railroad.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA, this 10th day of October , 1977.
