RESOLUTION NO. 7~q
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID
OF JAMES WHITETHORN FOR THE PURCHASE
OF CERTAIN R-21 URBAN RENEWAL PROPERTY
\~IEREAS, the Seward City Council feels that it is in the public interest
to accept the bid of James Whitethorn for the purchase of Lots 9,10 and 11, Block 2,
Oceanview Subdivision, at the total price of Eighteen Thousand Three Hundred Dollars
($18,300);
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA, THAT:
Section 1. The bid of James Whitethorn is hereby accepted, and the City
Manager is authorized and directed to execute the necessary documents to process the
sale of this property in accord with the Ordinances of the City of Seward, Alaska, and
the requirements of the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development.
Section 2.

This resolution shall become effective thirty (30) days after
posting, in accordance with Section 2-81 through 2-85 of the
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA,
this 27th day of February, 1978.
