CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 78-11
A RESOLUTION PROVIDING
AGENDA AND MINUTES MAILING SERVICE
AND SETTING FEES
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Seward wishes to
provide a special service to those interested citizens requesting to
receive Council and Commission agendas and minutes by mail, and
WHEREAS, the Council feels it is necessary to assess those
individuals receiving the service for the costs of providing such;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Seward, Alaska, that unless otherwise exempt herein, all persons
requesting to be placed on an agenda and minutes mailing list shall pay
the following fees:
City Council
Harbor Commission
Planning and Zoning Commission
Price Per Year
Agenda Minutes Total
$ 15.00 $ 45.00 $ 60.00
7.50 22.50 30.00
7.50 22.50 30.00
AND, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the fee is payable in advance
on a yearly basis;
AND, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the following categories of
persons are exempt from the above-stated fees:
--State and Federal Congressman
--Ken~i Peninsula Borough Assembly representativels from
the City of Seward
--Kenai Peninsula Borough governmental agencies
--Alaska State Library
--Coast Guard (Harbor Commission agendas)
--Local news media
--City auditors
--Other public agencies and officials si~ilarly situated
