CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 78-12
A RESOLUTION RELATING TO THE
SALE AND ACQUISITION OF A BOAT LIFT
WHEREAS, the City boat lift is over ten years old, and;
WHEREAS, the cost of maintaining the boat lift is increasing yearly with age,
and;
WHEREAS, the City has need of a boat lift with greater capability, and;
WHEREAS, the City has located a buyer for the present boat lift;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Seward,
Alaska, does hereby authorize the City Manager to purchase a new boat lift from Travel
Lift, Inc., Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, for a price not to exceed $65,907;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Manager is authorized to sell the present
boat lift to R-Lee Seafoods, Inc., Kenai, Alaska, at a purchase price of $32,953.50
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, this
13th day of March , 1978.
