CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 99-012
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA, AUTHORIZING A CREDIT BASED ON KILOWATT HOURS
TO COMMERCIAL AND RESIDENTIAL ACCOUNTS OF THE
SEWARD ELECTRIC UTILITY AS A RESULT OF THE CHUGACH
ELECTRIC ASSOCIATION'S 1988 WHOLESALE CAPITAL CREDIT
REBATE TO THE UTILITY
WHEREAS, the City has received notification from Chugach Electric Association that
the Seward Electric Utility will receive a $70,838.00 wholesale capital credit rebate for Calendar
Year 1988 ; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council to return this rebate to the utility's
commercial and residential customers in the form of a credit based on kilowatt hours on each
customer's March utility billing.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to issue a credit to each Seward
Electric residential account's March 1999 billing.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
POSTPONED INDEFINITELY by the City Council ofthe city of Seward, Alaska, this
22 day of February, 1999.
