RESOLUTION 99-013
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA, REAFFIRMING ITS DECISION TO APPROPRIATE $3,000
FROM THE GENERAL FUND FUND BALANCE TO THE CITY MAN-
AGER'S DEPARTMENT TO HELP HOST A RECEPTION RECOGNIZING
THE MILITARY FOR ITS P ARTlCIP A TlON IN THE NORTHERN EDGE
EXERCISES
WHEREAS, at the Council meeting on February 8, 1999, the Council approved spending
up to $3,000 from the General Fund fund balance to help host a Seward reception recognizing the
military for its participation in the Northern Edge Exercises; and
WHEREAS, the Seward City Code requires all budget appropriations to be approved by a
resolution ofthe City Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The City Council approves an appropriation of $3,000 from the General Fund
fund balance, account 101-0000-3050, to the City Manager's Department, Promotion Expense,
account 101-1120-5730.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this 22 day
of February, 1999.
