RESOLUTION NO. 99-056
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA, APPROVING A SPECIAL EVENTS PERMIT TO THE SEWARD
HARBOR BUSINESS ASSOCIATION FOR THEIR "1999 OPENING
WEEKEND" EVENTS AND ALLOWING A STREET DANCE ON SOUTH
HARBOR STREET FROM EAST OF THE ALLEYS TO FOURTH STREET
WHEREAS, the Seward Harbor Business Association wishes to hold their "1999 Opening
weekend" events in Seward May 14 and 15, 1999; and
WHEREAS, the Seward Harbor Business Association, has requested authorization to utilize
city property on May 15, 1999, to allow their non-profit organization to conduct a street dance on
South Harbor Street from East ofthe alleys to Fourth Street;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The Seward Harbor Business Association is authorized to utilize city property
to conduct their street dance on for May 15, 1999, and a special events permit is approved.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council ofthe city of Seward, Alaska, this 10 day
of May, 1999.
