RESOLUTION NO. 99-107
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA, APPROVING AMENDMENT 10, REDUCING COMPENSATION
TO THE CONTRACT WITH KENT DAWSON COMPANY, INC. FOR
STATE LOBBYING SERVICES THROUGH DECEMBER 31,1999
WHEREAS, the City of Seward has employed Kent Dawson as our state lobbyist since
1980; and
WHEREAS, with the adoption of the Six Month Budget the City Council approved
continuing the firm's services at a rate of $4, 166.66 per month; and
WHEREAS, this reduction in compensation, from $5,000 to $4,166.66 per month, has been
agreed to by both the City of Seward and Dawson; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The City Council approves Amendment No.1 0 of the contract with Kent Dawson
Company, Inc., amending compensation for services to $25,000 for the six month period, July 1,
1999 to December 31, 1999, to be paid in equal monthly amounts of $4, 166,66.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Seward, Alaska, this 9 day
of August, 1999.
