RESOLUTION 99-108
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA, AUTHORIZING AN APPROPRIATION FROM THE GENERAL
FUND ACCOUNT, DESIGNATED FOR HOSPITAL SALES TAX, TO THE
HOSPITAL CONSTRUCTION FUND ACCOUNT NUMBER IN THE
AMOUNT OF $28,310.15
WHEREAS, The City Council has previously authorized the expenditure of a total of
$643,591.95 for the demolition of the old Clinic Building on the Hospital site; the relocation of
electric, water and sewer lines on the Hospital site; and the demolition ofthe old Hospital
Building, and
WHEREAS, The actual cost of the above construction exceeded the authorized amount
by $28,310.15, and
WHEREAS, There are sufficient funds available from the General Fund Account
Designated for Hospital Sales Tax, Account 101-0000-3042-0001
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The sum of$28,310.15 is transferred from Account 101-0000-3042-0001,
to Account 311-0000-3070-0000.
Section 2.
The Hospital Construction Project is closed.
Section 3.
This resolution shall be retroactive and take effect on June 30, 1999.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this 9
day of August, 1999.
