RESOLUTION 99-112
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
PURCHASE PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT FOR GATEWAY PARK AND
FOR BALLAINE PLAYGROUND FROM DIVISION 10, IN THE AMOUNT
OF $34,662
WHEREAS, the City of Seward appropriately advertised on invitation to bid for playground
equipment for two projects: Gateway Park (on Dora Way) and for Ballaine Playground; and
WHEREAS, four responsive bidders submitted price quotes and vlUious methods of discounts;
and
WHEREAS ,funds are available from the Gateway Park grant and from the City Playground
Fund:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The city manager is authorized to purchase playground equipment for
Gateway Park and for Ballaine Playground from Division 10, in the amount of $34,662.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska this 9
day of August, 1999.
