CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 92-009
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, ACCEPTING A FIRE SERVICE TRAINING
GRANT FROM THE STATE OF ALASKA AND APPROPRIATING THE FUNDS
WHEREAS, the Fire Service Training Program of the state of Alaska has awarded
a $1200 grant to the Seward Volunteer Fire Department; and
WHEREAS, the funds were granted for the purpose of providing pump
maintenance training to volunteers and fire department personnel;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. A state fire service grant totalling $1200 is hereby ACCEPTED.
Section 2. The sum of $1200 is hereby appropriated from the General Fund
Miscellaneous Fire Grants Account No. 101-4420-0160 to the Fire Department Volunteer
Training Travel Account No. 101-1221-5140.
. Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this
27th day of January, 1992.
