RESOLUTION NO. 99-122
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ISSUE A PURCHASE
ORDER IN THE AMOUNT OF $34,330 TO YOUNG'S FIREHOUSE FOR
THE REPLACEMENT OF FIRE HOSE
WHEREAS, the City of Seward accepted the FY2000 Municipal Capital Matching Grant
for fire hose replacement; and
WHEREAS, the Seward Fire Department issued an invitation to bid; and
WHEREAS, afterreceiving seven bids and reviewing specification requirements it has been
determined that Young's Firehouse meets all requirements and is the low bidder;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to issue a purchase order in the amount
of$34,330 to Young's Firehouse for the replacement of fire hose from the Fire Department Fire Hose
Replacement Capital Project Fund.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council ofthe City of Seward, Alaska, this 13 day
of September, 1999.
