CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 92-021
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, APPROVING A ONE YEAR
EXTENSION TO THE CONTRACT WITH JASON
ENTERPRISES FOR REFUSE SERVICE
WHEREAS, the city has maintained a contract for garbage and refuse service over
the past four years originally with Herman Leirer and recently with Jason McDonald dba
Jason Enterprises; and
WHEREAS, the contract contains an option for yearly renewals not to exceed five
years totalj and
WHEREAS, the contract is due for renewal of its final one year extension and Mr.
McDonald has agreed to the extensionj
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to extend the contract with Jason
Enterprises for one year to expire on December 31, 1992, for the collection and disposal
of garbage and refuse within the city of Seward.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this
10th day of February, 1992.
