CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 79-3
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO SIGN FOR GRANTS ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF SEWARD
WdEREAS, the City of Seward has applied for grants from the
Environmental Protection Agency and the Department of Environmental
Conservation for the purpose of design of sewer improvements, and
WHEREAS, in order to apply for these grants, the Federal
government requires that a City official be specifically designated
as the authorized official to sign for the monies;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that City Manager Clarence E. Johnson is hereby
designated and authorized to act as the official on behalf of the City
of Seward to apply and sign for Federal grant funds.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA, this 8th day of January , 1979.
