RESOLUTION No. 79~
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, DETERMINING TO PROCEED WITH A SPECIAL
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT CALLED THE JESSE LEE HEIGHTS
SUBDIVISION SEWER, WATER AND STREET IMPROVEMENT
DISTRICT
WHEREAS, a public hearing has been held pursuant to
Section 19A-4 of the Seward City Code to receive public comment
on the proposed special improvement district called the Jesse
Lee Heights Subdivision Sewer, Water and Street Improvement
District,
WHEREAS, after a full review by the City Council of
all of the facts and opinions presented, it is hereby found and
determined that the proposed special improvement district is
necessary and will benefit the property assessed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Seward, Alaska, that the special improvement
district called the Jessee Lee Heights Subdivision Sewer, Water
and Street Improvement District to cover an area known as the
Jesse Lee Heights Sbudivision shall proceed to completion;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Manager is
hereby authorized and directed to proceed with design and
construction of the proposed improvement subject to obtaining
suitable financing;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Manager is
hereby authorized and directed to keep account of all of the
costs of the improvement including acquisition of interests in
land for the improvement, design, engineering, administration,
overhead, professional services, guarantee fund, bond costs and
interest incurred as a result of the improvement and all other
costs resulting from the construction of the improvement.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, this 26th day of February, 1979.
