CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 79-19
A RESOLUTION REQUESTING JOINT CONSIDERATION WITH iHE
STATE OF ALASKA ON CERTAIN PARCELS OF LAND NOMINATED BY THE CI1'Y OF
SEWARD PURSUANT TO THE MUNICIPAL LAND ENTITILEMENT ACT.
WHEREAS, the City did nominate certain lands located in the Fourth of
July Creek area on November 27, 1978 and filed as ADL No. 201288, and,
WHEREAS, AS 29.18.205 (e) provides that each eligible municipality
and the State of Alaska jointly consider which vacant, unappropriated, unre-
served land of interest to a municipality is appropriate for municipal selec-
tion.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA:
Section 1. That joint consideration 1S requested of the following
nominated lands:
U.S. Survey No. 4827
U.S. Survey No. 4828, compr1s1ng 473.87 acres,
more or less.

Section 2. That this resolution takes effect immediately upon

this 14th day of May, 1979.
