CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 79-33
A RESOLUTION CREATING THE POSITION OF DEPUTY CITY CLERK
WHEREAS, Section 2-44 (h) of the Seward City Code of Ordinances
states that the City Clerk ". . . shall have the power to appoint deputies,
if needed, provided that the appointment of all deputies shall be approved
by at least four members of the council", and
WHEREAS, it is desirable to have an employee of the City designated
as Deputy City Clerk to act in the capacity of an aide to the City Clerk;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that there is hereby created the position of Deputy City
Clerk for the City of Seward, Alaska; the position to be supervised by the
City Clerk and to be designated as a classified employee of the City.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALAKSA, this 23rd day of July, 1979.
