CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 79-37
A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE NOMINATIONS OF CERTAIN LANDS
FOR CONVEYANCE FROM THE STATE OF
ALASKA TO THE CITY OF SEWARD PURSUANT TO THE MUNICIPAL
LAND ENTITLEMENT ACT
WHEREAS, the City did nominate 240 acres of State land
located in Section 27 and 28, T.1N. ,R.1W, Seward Meridian, on May
14,1979; and
WHEREAS, mistakes have been discovered in the legal
descriptions for these parcels; and
WHEREAS, the City of Seward is desirous to correct these
legal descriptions;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA:
Section I. That the following described lands are
hereby relinquished from nomination by the City Council for
conveyance from the State of Alaska to the City pursuant to
the Municipal Land Entitlement Act:
(1) All of the NWi of the SW! of Section 28,
T.1N, R.1W, Seward Meridian, containing
40 acres.
(2) All of the SW! of SWi of Section 28, T.1N,
R.1W, Seward Meridian containing 40 acres.
(3) All of the NEi of the SE! of Section 27,
T.IN, R.1W, Seward Meridian, comprising
40 acres.
(4) AJl of the SE! of the SE! of Section 27,
T.1N, R.1W, Seward Meridian, comprising
40 acres.
(5) All of the SW! of the SE! of Section 27,
T.1N, R.1W, Seward Meridian comprising
40 acres.
(6) All of the SE! of the NE! of Section 27,
T.1N, R.1W, Seward Meridian comprising
40 acres.

Section II. That the following described lands are
hereby nominated by the City Council for conveyance from
the State of Alaska to the City pursuant to the Municipal
Land Entitlement Act:
(1) All of the Ei of the SE! of Section 28,
T.1N, R.1W, Seward Meridian comprising
80 acres.
(2) All of the SW! of the NW! of Section 27,
T.1N, R.1W, Seward Meridian comprising
40 acres.
(3) All of the NWi of the SWI of Section 27,
T.1N, R.1W, Seward Meridian comprising
40 acres.
(4) All of the SWI of the SWi of Section 27,
T.IN, R.1W, Seward Meridian comprising
40 acres.
(5) All of the SEI of the SW! of Section 27,
T.1N, R.1W, Seward Meridian comprising
40 acres.
Section III. That this resolution takes effect im-
mediately upon adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, this 13thday of August, 1979.
