CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO.79-45
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A CHANGE
TO THE PROPOSED LAND USE PLAN
WHEREAS, the City Council did approve a proposed land use plan for the
City of Seward on August 13, 1979; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held before the Seward Advisory Planning
and Zoning Commission on October 4, 1979, regarding an amendment to the proposed
land use plan; and
WHEREAS, the Seward Advisory Planning and Zoning Commission on October
4, 1979, did adopt a motion amending the proposed land use plan;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA:
Section I. That the proposed land use plan be amended to reflect the
following change:
That the land north of Van Buren and south of Mill Road, bounded on the
west by First Avenue and on the east by Second Avenue, Government Road
and Lots 1-5, Block 7, of the Cliff Addition, be changed to Multi-
Family Residential District from its current designation as Neighbor-
hood Residential District.
Section II. That the resolution takes effect immediately upon adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA,
this 8th day of October, 1979.
