RESOLUTION NO. 79-46
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING THE ELECTION BOARD
FOR THE CITY OF SEWARD SPECIAL ELECTION
SCHEDULED FOR TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 13, 1979
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Seward, Alaska, has
scheduled a special election to be held on Tuesday, November 13, 1979,
and;
WHEREAS, it is necessary to appoint an Election Board, pursuant
to Sec. 8-8 of the Seward City Code, to assist in the conduct of the special
election;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, that the following residents of the City of Seward, each a
qualified voter and resident within the precinct in which appointed to
serve, are hereby appointed and designated as members of the Election Board
for the conduct of the City of Seward special election of Tuesday, November
13, 1979:
SEWARD NO. 1 PRECINCT
Chairman:
Sanna LeVan
Judges:
Debra Bock
Estelle Roach
Karla Schaefermeyer
SEWARD NO. 2 PRECINCT
Chairman:
Shirley Hill
Judges:
Nancy Sadusky
Kathy Sawyer
Doris Welch
AND, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Election Board members shall
be compensated in the same manner as Election Board members for Borough and
State elections are compensated;
AND, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution shall become
effective immediately upon passage and approval.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA, this 22nd day of October, 1979.
