RESOLUTION NO. 94-036
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF A BOAT
HARBOR ACCOUNTING PROGRAM FROM ARTHUR MICRO-SYSTEMS
WHEREAS, during the FY 1994 budget process, the Council approved funding for
the purchase of an accounting system compatible with the needs of the Harbor Enterprise
Fund; and
WHEREAS, Arthur Micro-Systems has developed an accounting program
specifically designed for use in marinas and harbors; and
WHEREAS, several other Alaskan coastal communities have purchased this
software program and all of those communities surveyed have been pleased with the
program;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The city manager is hereby authorized to issue a purchase order to
Arthur Micro-Systems in an amount not to exceed $35,000 for the purchase and
installation of a boat harbor accounting program.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this
14th day of March, 1994.
