RESOLUTION NO. 94-038
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, APPROVING THE SUBLEASE OF BOARDWALK
LEASE SITE NO.2 FROM RICHARD AND LINDA WORABEL TO
PHILLIPS CRUISES FOR OPERATION OF A DAY CRUISE TICKET OFFICE
WHEREAS, Richard and Linda Worabel are the lessees of Boardwalk Lease Site
No.2; and
WHEREAS, the lessees desire to sublease the building and site to Phillips Cruises
for use as a day cruise ticket office; and
WHEREAS, the proposed use is compatible with the current zoning code;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. A sublease of Boardwalk Lease Site No.2 by Richard and Linda
Worabel to Phillips Cruises is hereby approved subject to the following conditions:
A. Lessees Richard and Linda Worabel shall remain responsible for all
provisions of the original lease agreement; and
B. Sublessee shall provide customer and employee parking at the rate
of one space per four people maximum capacity of cruise vessels represented by the
ticket office.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this
29th day of March, 1994.
