CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 94-080
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, EXTENDING THE CONTRACT WITH
DANE AMOS, DBA AMOS COMPUTER CONSULTANTS, FOR
AN ADDITIONAL ONE YEAR PERIOD EXPIRING JUN 30, 1995
WHEREAS, Dane Amos, dba AMOS Computer Consultants (ACC), has provided
professional computer consulting services to the city for the past four years; and
WHEREAS, the initial term of the current contract with ACC expires June 30,1994;
and
WHEREAS, the ACC contract provides for up to four additional one year
extensions upon approval of the City Council; and
WHEREAS, based on the contractor's past performance, experience and familiarity
with the city's computers, the administration recommends that the contract be extended
for one additional year to expire on June 30, 1995; and
WHEREAS, funds are available in the FY 1995 budget to cover the cost of the one-
year contract extension;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The contract between the city of Seward and Dane Amos, dba AMOS
Computer Consultants, is hereby extended for a one year period to expire on June 30,
1995.
Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to issue a purchase order to the
contractor in an amount not to exceed $25,000 for Fiscal Year 1995.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this
13th day ofJune, 1994.
