RESOLUTION NO. 94-091
A RESOLUTION OF TIm CITY COUNcaOF TIm CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, APPROVING TIm PURCHASE OF
MATERIALS FOR B FLOAT RENOVATIONS
WHEREAS, the Harbor has developed a project to address the deferred maintenance of
B Float; and
WHEREAS, the Harbor received four bids in response to a request for bids to provide
the materials necessary to perform the identified maintenance of the float; and
WHEREAS, the low bidder, The Glass Menagerie of Seward, has been detennined to
be both responsive and responsible; and
WHEREAS, funding for the materials purchase is available in the Harbor budget;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCa OF TIm
CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to issue a purchase order not to
exceed $47,421.88 to The Glass Menagerie for the purchase of materials for the reconstruction
of B Float.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this 27th
day of June, 1994.
