RESOLUTION NO. 99-152
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A
CONTRACT WITH CRW ENGINEERING GROUP TO PROVIDE
MODELING OF THE WATER AND SEWER SYSTEMS FOR THE FOREST
ACRES/GA TEW A Y AREA AND TO A LIMITED EXTENT THE CITY OF
SEWARD AT A COST NOT-TO-EXCEED $118,700
WHEREAS, the city of Seward is proceeding with the modeling of the Forest
Acres/Gateway area water and sewer systems; and
WHEREAS, the review committee recommends the selection ofCRW Engineering Group
as the engineer for the project:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with CR W Engineering Group
to provide modeling of the water and sewer systems for the Forest Acres/Gateway <;rrea and to a
limited extent the City of Seward at a cost not-to-exceed $118,700.
Section 2. The City Manager is authorized to appropriate funding from the Water and Sewer
Retained Earnings Account 701-0000-3050, in the amount of$118, 700, to the Forest Acres/Gateway
Water Sewer System Capital Project Fund Account 704-7040-5XXX.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this 15th
day of November, 1999.
