CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 94-094
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, AMENDING THE FY 1995 GENERAL FUND BUDGET
AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF $14,000 FOR THE
SEWARD CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
WHEREAS, the Seward Chamber of Commerce acquired a loan in the amount of
$30,000 from the City for operational needs in 1992; and
WHEREAS, the Chamber of Commerce has yet to pay back $14,000 of the loan to the
City; and
WHEREAS, the Chamber of Commerce has requested additional funding from the City
to support operational costs for the immediate future; and
WHEREAS, the Chamber of Commerce is requesting a contribution from the City of
Seward in the amount of $14,000;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The sum of $14,000 is hereby appropriated from the General Fund Fund
Balance through Account No. 101-3070 to the Seward Chamber of Commerce for upcoming
operational costs and visitor promotion/information selVices.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this 11th
day of July, 1994.
