RESOLUTION NO. 94-096
A RESOLUTION OF TIm CITY COUNca OF TIm CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, APPROVING A ONE- YEAR CONTRACT
EXTENSION WITH KENT DAWSON COMPANY, INC., FOR
LEGISLATIVE WBBYING SERVICES
WHEREAS, on July 1, 1989, the City of Seward entered into an agreement with Kent
Dawson Company to provide lobbying services to the city; and
WHEREAS, on July 9, 1990, the Council approved Resolution No. 90-080, extending
this contract through the fIrst session of the Seventeenth Alaska State Legislature; and
WHEREAS, on June 24, 1991, the Council approved Resolution No. 91-075, extending
the contract through the second session of the Seventeenth Alaska State Legislature; and
WHEREAS, on June 22, 1992, the Council approved Resolution No. 92-107, extending
the contract through the fIrst session of the Eighteenth Alaska State Legislature; and
WHEREAS, on July 12, 1994, the Council approved Resolution No. 93-100, extending
the contract through the second session of the Eighteenth Alaska State Legislature; and
WHEREAS, the City of Seward wishes to continue this agreement through the fIrst
session of the Nineteenth Alaska State Legislature;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TIm CITY COUNCa OF TIm
CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. Amendment No. 5 to the Kent Dawson Company, Inc., agreement for
lobbying services, a copy of which is attached and incOIporated herein by reference, is hereby
approved, and the City Manager is authorized to execute same on behalf of the City of Seward.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this 11th
day of July, 1994.

The only change 'in the AGREEMENT shall be to Paragraph 1.
Duties and Term, final sentence amended to read:
"Seward hereby
contracts and employs Dawson as of July 1, 1994, through June 30,
1995."
EXCEPT AS PROVIDED HEREIN, all other terms and conditions of
the AGREEMENT dated July 1, 1989, remain in force and effect.
