RESOLUTION NO. 94-100
ARESOLUTIONOFTImCITYCO~CaOFTImCITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, APPROVING ADDmONAL AUDIT AND
ACCOUNTING ASSISTANCE FEES RELATED TO TIm FY 1993 AUDIT
WHEREAS, KPMG Peat Marwick provided accounting assistance over and above the
amount originally agreed upon in order to complete the FY 1993 city audit; and
WHEREAS, in recognition of the accounting back log which resulted from the turnover
in the assistant fmance director's position, the city authorized Peat Marwick to provide
accounting assistance for an amount not to exceed $10,000; and
WHEREAS, the assistance needed and provided exceeded the amount originally
authorized by $12,375.41; and
WHEREAS, Peat Marwick has agreed to reduce the excess billing by one-half, charging
the city an additional $6,187.70;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TIm CITY co~ca OF TIm
CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to pay an additional $6,187.70 in
accounting assistance fees to KPMG Peat Marwick for the FY 1993 audit.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council ofthe city of Seward, Alaska, this 11th
day of July, 1994.
