CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 94-170
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, REAPPROPRIATING FUNDS TO
COMPLETE HIGHMAST LIGHTING AT THE NORTH DOCK
WHEREAS, in February, 1994, the City Council authorized $67,000 for the
purchase and installation of two Highmast lighting systems at the North Dock; and
WHEREAS, these lighting systems have now been installed and energized; and
WHEREAS, the contractor was paid for a portion of the work in FY 1994; and
WHEREAS, the purchase order authorizing payment to the contractor lapsed on
June 30, 1994;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The sum of $34,309.48 is hereby appropriated from the Electric Fund
Retained Earnings Account No. 501-3070 to the Electric Fund Work Order Operating
Supplies Account No. 501-5300-5400.
Section 2. The City Manager is authorized to issue a purchase order not to exceed
$34,309.48 to the contractor to close out the North Dock Highmast Lighting project.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this
12th day of September, 1994.
