RESOLUTION NO. 94-171
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, REAPPROPRIATING FUNDS TO COMPLETE
REPAIRS OF SUBSTATION RECLOSERS AND RELAYS
WHEREAS, in May, 1994, the City Council authorized $20,370 for the repair of
substation reclosers and relays; and
WHEREAS, this project was not completed by the end of June as originally
anticipated; and
WHEREAS, the purchase order authorizing payment to the contractor lapsed on
June 30, 1994;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The sum of $20,370 is hereby appropriated from the Electric Fund
Retained Earnings Account No. 501-3070 to the Electric Fund Substation Operations
Maintenance and Repairs Account No. 501-5110-5380.
Section 2. The City Manager is authorized to issue a purchase order in the
amount of $20,370 to Eastern Electric for the repair of the substation reclosers and relays.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this
12th day of September, 1994.
