RESOLUTION NO. 94-172
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, REAPPROPRIATING FUNDS TO COMPLETE
THE REMEDIATION PROJECT AT Fr. RAYMOND SUBSTATION
WHEREAS, in April, 1994, the Council authorized an increase in the Dames and
Moore contract for remediation of the oil spill at Ft. Raymond Substation; and
WHEREAS, Dames & Moore has currently been paid $48,869.46 of the $62,200
appropriated for this work; and
WHEREAS, the purchase order authorizing payment to the contractor lapsed on
June 30 1994;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL YED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The amount of $13,330.54 is hereby appropriated from the Electric Fund
Retained Earnings Account No. 501-3070 to the Electric Fund Substation Operations
Contract Services Account No. 501-5110-5390.
Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to issue a purchase order in the
amount of $13,330.54 to Dames and Moore to close out this project.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this
12th day of September, 1994.
