CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 94-190
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR THE
PURCHASE OF BUSINESS LICENSE SOFTWARE
WHEREAS, the software currently being used by the clerk's office for management
of business licenses is limited in its capacity to perform needed search functions and to
generate reports; and
WHEREAS, a request for proposals was distributed to software vendors; and
WHEREAS, two proposals were received and the proposal submitted by MWM
Consulting was determined to be the lowest cost proposal; and
WHEREAS, the purchase of a business license software package and training will
greatly improve the efficiency of the clerk's office by providing for year-to-year tracking
and reporting of businesses; and
WHEREAS, MWM Consulting will provide the installation, training and
maintenance support of the software package for two years;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The sum of $3,720.00 is hereby appropriated from the General Fund
Account No. 101-3070 to the City Clerk Department Contract Services Account No. 101-
1130-5390.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this
24th day of October, 1994.
