RESOLUTION NO. 94-211
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, EXTENDING THE MARATHON FUEL
CONTRACT TO PROVIDE PETROLEUM PRODUCTS
THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 1995
WHEREAS, on January 10, 1994, the City Council approved Resolution No. 94-005,
approving a contract with Marathon Fuel Service to provide petroleum products to the City for
a one year period; and
WHEREAS, the agreement with Marathon Fuel contained an option to extend the
agreement for one additional year upon approval of the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City has received satisfactory service from Marathon Fuel Service and
wishes to exercise its option to extend the agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The Agreement with Marathon Fuel Service to provide petroleum products
to the City is hereby extended for a one year period to expire on December 31, 1995.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this 12th
day of December, 1994.
