CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 94-213
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, RESCINDING A BID AWARD TO FOUR
SEASONS BOAT SERVICES AND AWARDING A BID FOR THE
PURCHASE OF FLOATATION BILLETS TO SEWARD BUILDING SUPPLY
WHEREAS, on November 28, 1994, the City Council approved Resolution No. 94-206,
approving the purchase of floatation billets from Four Seasons Boat Services; and
WHEREAS, Four Seasons Boat Services has submitted a letter to the City withdrawing
its bid to provide the floatation billets; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City to purchase the billets from the second low
bidder, Seward Building Supply;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The bid award to Four Seasons Boat Services for the purchase of floatation
billets is hereby RESCINDED.
Section 2. The City Manager is authorized and instructed to issue a purchase order in the
amount of $7,776.00 to Seward Building Supply for the purchase of the floatation billets.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this 12th
day of December, 1994.
