RESOLUTION NO. 95-009
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, EXTENDING THE CONTRACT WITH THE
ALASKA DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY FOR SPECIAL
SERVICES THROUGH JUNE 30, 1995
WHEREAS, the FY 1994 contract for special services was extended through
October 31, 1994; and
WHEREAS, the City and the Department agree to further extend the provisions
of the contract for the period November 1, 1994 to June 30, 1995;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The contract between the State of Alaska Department of Public Safety
and the City for special services, a copy of which is attached and incorporated herein by
reference, is hereby extended through June 30,1995.

Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this
13th day of February, 1995.

EXTENSION OF CONTRACT FOR SPECIAL SERVICES
November 1,1994 to June 30, 1995
The parties to this contract are the Alaska Department of Public Safety (hereinafter
referred to as the "Department") and the Borough/City of Seward (hereinafter referred to 85
the "Borough/City").
The Department and the Borough/City have entered into an agreement entitled State
of Alaska, Department of Public Safety, Contract for Special Services, July 1, 1993 to June
30, 1994 (hereinafter referred to as the "Contract"), relating to the provision of services related
to assistance in the efficient conduct of Department business within the genera! geographic
region of the BorougrJCity as outlined in the Contract for Special Services.
The Department and the Borough/City previously agreed to extend the provisions of
the contract for the period from July 1, 1994 to October 31, 1994.
Now, the Department and the Borough/City hereby agree to ~rther extend the
provisions of the Contract for the period from November 1, 1994 to June 30, 1995 inclusively.
All verbiage of the existing contract will stay in force except for the last sentence of paragraph
1.a of the contract which shall read:.
Payment for services provided under this contract will be made in three separate
payments in the amount of end covering the periods indicated below:
