CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 95-011
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, APPROPRIATING GRANT FUNDS
FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF X FLOAT AND ELECTRICAL
UPGRADE IN THE SMALL BOAT HARBOR
WHEREAS, the City accepted grant agreements from the State for the replacement
of "X" Float and upgrade of the electrical system in the small boat harbor; and
WHEREAS, the City will receive $420,000 from the State of Alaska, the Harbor will
provide in-kind contributions totalling $74,000 and the sum of $49,400 will be transferred
from the general fund for a total "X" Float project budget of $543,400; and
WHEREAS, the City will receive $247,500 from the State of Alaska and the sum
of $24,750 will be transferred from the general fund for a total Electrical Upgrade project
budget of $272,250;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. Funds totalling $420,000 are hereby appropriated from the State Project
Revenue Account No. 278-??oo-4680-0200, $74,000 is hereby appropriated from the Harbor
Fund Account No. 401-??oo-3070 and $49,400 is appropriated from the General Fund
Operating Transfer Account No. 101-??oo-3070-0278 to the Harbor "X" Float Replacement
Capital Project Fund Account No. 278-2781-xxxx.
Section 2. Funds totalling $247,500 are hereby appropriated from the State Project
Revenue Account No. 302-??oo-4680-0200 and $24,750 is appropriated from the General
Fund Operating Transfer Account No. 101-0000-3070-0302 to the Harbor Electric Upgrade
Capital Fund Account No. 302-3020-xxxx.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this
13th day of February, 1995.
