CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 95-012
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, APPROVING A REQUEST FOR THE
INSTALLATION OF A NEWSPAPER VENDING MACHINE
OUTSIDE THE SEWARD CITY HALL BUILDING
WHEREAS, a request was received from Samantha Komok, local distributor of the
Anchorage Daily News, to place a newspaper vending machine outside the east entrance
of the Seward City Hall Building; and
WHEREAS, vendor requests may be authorized by resolution of the City Council;
and
WHEREAS, access to statewide news presents a benefit to the public and Komok
will be responsible for the machine and it contents;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. Samantha Komok, distributor of the Anchorage Daily News, is hereby
authorized to install and operate a newspaper vending machine outside the east entrance
of the Seward City Hall Building.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this
13th day of February, 1995.
