RESOLUTION NO. 95-023
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH COFFMAN ENGINEERS
TO PERFORM ENGINEERING SERVICES TO UPGRADE THE
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM FOR THE SMALL BOAT HARBOR
WHEREAS, the City of Seward properly advertised a request for proposals for
engineering design services for an upgraded electrical system for the Small Boat Harbor; and
WHEREAS, five proposals for this work were received and evaluated by the City; and
WHEREAS, Coffman Engineers was determined to be the most responsive and
responsible proposer; and
WHEREAS, funds for this project are available from a state grant;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Coffman
Engineers in an amount not to exceed $20,000 to perform engineering services to upgrade the
electrical system for the Small Boat Harbor.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this 28th
day of March, 1995.
