OF SEWARD, ALASKA, AUTHORIZING A THIRD
TO LEASE AGREEMENT WITH SEWARD SHIP'S DR
EXTENDING TIm TIME FOR CONSTRUCTING A 300-
AS REQUIRED UNDER TIm LEASE UNTIL S
WHEREAS, on September 22, 1988, the City entered in lease agreement with James
T. Pruitt, dba Seward Ship's Chandlery, for the lease of certain property located within the
Seward Marine Industrial Center for development of a ship air yard; and
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Re 1'0 . 9 -1 9 and Resolution No. 94-
037, authorizing an amendment to said lease to exp a the lease site to accommodate the
constroction of a ship repair building; and
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted l' n N. 4~, authorizing a second
amendment to said lease to extend the term of e lease to June 1, 2024, and authorizing the
assignment of said lease from James T. Pruitt ba Seward Ship's Chandlery, to Seward Ship's
Drydock, Inc.; and
WHEREAS, the Lessee has requ sted that the time for constrocting a 300-foot building
on the leased property be extended to eptember 1, 1995, due to constroction delays;
NOW, THEREFORE, B IT RESOLVED BY TIm CITY co~ca OF TIm

Section 1. The City ager is hereby authorized to execute the Third Amendment to
Lease Agreement, attached d incorporated herein by reference, amending city lease No. RE
88-073 with Seward Ship' Drydock, Inc.
