CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 94-136
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, EXTENDING THE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
AGREEMENT WITH INTEGRITY SURVEYS AND APPROPRIATING
FUNDS TO COMPLETE SUBDIVISION WORK IN THE
FOURTH OF JULY CREEK AREA
WHEREAS, in October 1992, the City Council approved Resolution No. 92-177.
authorizing the administration to enter into a professional services agreement with
Integrity Surveys to survey and plat lands within the Fourth of July Creek area and Nash
Road in an amount not to exceed $38,OOOj and
WHEREAS, all of the field work under the agreement has been completed, the
preliminary plat has been approved by the Borough, the City has received patent to the
tidelands and the City is now ready to finalize the platsj and
WHEREAS, changes in the scope of the project and other unanticipated work
have increased the overall project cost to approximately $5O,OOOj and
WHEREAS, the original purchase order for this project has lapsed and it is now
necessary to receive Council authorization for both the increased scope of the project and
payment of final invoices totalling $14,161.25j and
WHEREAS, funds are available to cover the costs of these invoicesj
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The professional services agreement with Integrity Surveys for
surveying and platting of lands within the Fourth of July Creek area and Nash Road is
hereby amended to increase the scope of the project and to increase the total cost of the
project from $38,000 to $50,000.
Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to pay Integrity Surveys
Invoices No. 1696, 1700, 1702 and 1703, dated May 2, 1994, totalling $14,161.25.
Section. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this
25th day of July, 1994.
