RESOLUTION NO. 94-143

OF SEWARD, ALASKA, ACCEPTING TIm KENAI PENINSULA
BOROUGH COMMUNITY SCHOOLS GRANT AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS
WHEREAS, each year the city receives a grant from the Kenai Peninsula Borough
School District for the operation of the Community Schools program; and
WHEREAS, the city provides matching funds through the collection of participant fees
and administers the program; and
WHEREAS, the FY 1995 grant provides funding at a level equivalent to that received
the past several years;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TIm CITY COUNCa OF TIm
CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. A Kenai Peninsula Borough School District grant in the amount of $7,000
is hereby ACCEPTED and the Parks and Recreation Department budget is amended by adding
the following amounts to department revenues and expenses:
REVENUES EXPENSES
101-4470-0130 (P&R Grants) $ 7,000 101-1422-5010 (Salaries) $ 12,852
101-4470-0030 (Class Regis.) 5,000 101-1422-5090 (Soc. Sec. Tax) 1,070
101-4470-0010 (Public Use) 1 ,000 101-1422-5080 (Work. Comp.) 78
101-4470-0020 (Punch Cards) 1 ,000
Total Revenues $ 14,000 Total Expenses $ 14,000
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this 8th
day of August, 1994.
