Sponsored by: Jones CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA RESOLUTION NO. 94-146 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, APPROVING CHANGE ORDER NO. 2-2 TO THE LAND FIELD SERVICES CONTRACT TO COMPLETE RIGHT-OF-WAY AND PERMIT ACQUISITION TASKS FOR PHASE n OF THE TRANSMISSION LINE PROJECT WHEREAS, the City Council previously approved an amendment to the Land Field Services, Inc., contract for right-of-way work and pennit acquisition for Phase IT of the transmission line project; and WHEREAS, at that time, the administration indicated it anticipated additional costs during fmalization of the best route for Phase IT of the transmission line; and WHEREAS, Land Field Services has requested a change order in the amount of $12,952.50 to cover the remainder of the work to complete Phase IT of the project; and WHEREAS, the administration has reviewed the request and has detennined that the amounts set forth are reasonable; and WHEREAS, funds for the change order are available in the transmission line construction budget; NOW, TIIEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that: Section 1. Change Order No. 2-2 to the Land Field Services, Inc., contract, increasing the contract in the amount of $12,952.50 for completion of the land pennits and right-of-way acquisitions to finalize Phase IT of the transmission line project, is hereby APPROVED. A copy of the change order is attached and incorporated herein by reference. Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
