RESOLUTION NO. 94-147
ARESOLUTIONOFTImCITYCO~CaOFTImCITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF
A NEW ANIMAL CONTROL VEHICLE
WHEREAS, the administration solicited bids for a new animal control vehicle in
accordance with the procedures established in Title 6 of the Seward City Code; and
WHEREAS, Peninsula Ford submitted the low bid; and
WHEREAS, funds are available in the FY 1995 budget for the purchase of the vehicle;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TIm CITY co~ca OF THE
CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to issue a purchase order to Peninsula Ford
in an amount not to exceed $18,695.00 to purchase a 1995 Ford pick-up truck for the animal
control officer's use.
Section 2. Funding for this purchase is to come from the Motor Pool Fund, Account
No. 102-1020-5930.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this 8th
day of August, 1994.
