A RESOLUTION OF TIm CITY COUNca OF TIm CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, ACCEPTING ALASKA STATE LmRARY
GRANTS AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS
WHEREAS, the Alaska State Library provides grants to qualified municipalities each
year; and
WHEREAS, these grants provide funding for the purchase of library materials and
equipment as well as support library service to special groups within the community; and
WHEREAS, it is in the public interest to accept these grant funds and set the grant
budgets;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TIm CITY COUNCa OF TIm
CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. Grant funds from the Public Library Assistance Grant for Fiscal Year 1995
in the amount of $7,862.00 are hereby accepted and appropriated from the State Project Funds
Account No. 114-4680-0200 to the Public Library Fund as follows:

Correctional Center in the amount of $7,000.00 are hereby accepted and appropriated from the

Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
