OF SEWARD, ALASKA, ACCEPTING REVENUE SHARING FUNDS
FOR REALm FACILITIES WlTH.1N TIm CITY, APPROPRIATING
FUNDS AND TRANSFERRING TIm FUNDS TO SEWARD GENERAL
HOSPITAL, WESLEY REHABllXfATION AND CARE CENTER AND
SEWARD LIFE ACTION co~ca
WHEREAS, the Alaska Revenue Sharing Program provides operating funds to qualified
municipalities each fiscal year; and
WHEREAS, funds are provided under the tax equalization program as well as for
miscellaneous service programs; and
WHEREAS, the city is obligated to expend that portion of revenue sharing funds
received under the health services programs for health care services;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TIm CITY co~ca OF TIm
CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. Revenue Sharing Funds for health care facilities and services totalling
$151,724.00 are hereby accepted and the city manager is hereby authorized to transfer state
revenue sharing funds to Seward General Hospital in the amount of $89,040, to Wesley
Rehabilitation and Care Center in the amount of $47,013 and to Seward Life Action Council in
the amount of $15,671.
Section 2. The sum of $151,724.00 is hereby appropriated from State Revenue Sharing
Fund, Account No. 200-XXX for allocation to health care facilities within the City of Seward
as follows:

Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
