RESOLUTION NO. 94-157
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, APPROVING AMENDMENT NO.1 TO THE
TRANSFER OF RESPONSmILITIES AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
STATE AND THE CITY FOR CONSTRUCTION OF THE CITY HALL
ELEVATOR TO CLOSE OUT THE PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 92-180 which approved the
transfer of responsibilities agreement (TaRA) between the City and the State DOT/PF for
construction of an elevator in city hall; and
WHEREAS, the state requires confmnation that Elevator Project Number RSA 25-3-
1642/25-3-1641 is complete;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. Amendment No. 1 to the TaRA between the City of Seward and the State
of Alaska DOT/PF for the construction of an elevator in city hall, a copy which is attached and
incorporated herein by reference, is hereby approved.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this
22nd day of August, 1994.

AMENDMENT NO. ONE
TO THE
TRANSFER OF RESPONSIBILITIES AGREEMENT
The Transfer of Responsibilities Agreement, effective the 3rd day
of December 1992, between the State of Alaska Department of
Transportation and Public Facilities and the City of Seward for
the purpose of installing an elevator in the Seward Municipal
Building, Appendix A is hereby amended as follows:
By execution of this Amendment, the Municipality hereby agrees
that it has been paid in full by the State in the amount of
Two Hundred Fifteen Thousand Dollars (215,000) and that this
figure represents the final funding level for this project and
Agreement.
The Municipality further agrees and certifies that the project
scope, as originally written or as may have been subsequently
amended by written mutual agreement of both parties, has been
completed in full by the terms of said Agreement and/or
Amendment.
The State hereby agrees that it accepts the project as
described in Appendix A to the Agreement, or as may have been
subsequently amended by mutual agreement of both parties.
In witness whereof, the parties hereto have executed this Amendment
No. One to the Agreement as of the day of , 199+.
