RESOLUTION NO. 96-022
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, APPROVING A CHANGE ORDER
TO THE PURCHASE ORDER ISSUED TO
CRW ENGINEERING FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES
FOR THE NORTH FOREST ACRES ACCESS ROAD
AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS
WHEREAS, the City's number one legislative priority is funding of approximately $1.9
million for the first phase of construction of the North Forest Acres Access Road; and
WHEREAS, preliminary design studies and cost estimates are needed in order to provide
information to the State Legislature for legislative funding; and
WHEREAS, CRW Engineering has completed the first phase of the design study at a cost
of$9,900; and
WHEREAS, an additional $15,600 is needed to complete the design study;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. Change Order No.1 in the amount of$15,600 to the Purchase Order issued to
CRW Engineering to provide a design study for the North Forest Acres Access Road is hereby
approved for a total project cost of $25,500.
Section 2. The sum of$15,600 is hereby appropriated from the General Fund Fund Balance
Account No. 101-3070 to the Engineering & Utility Department, Contract Services Account No.
101-1230-5390.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this 12 day
of February, 1996.
