A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, APPROVING THE CITY COUNCIL
AGENDA FORMAT
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 96-09 authorizes the City Council to setits order of business
for its public meetings by resolution; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council to provide fot the conduct ofthe City's
business in an orderly and efficient manner without adversely affecting the public's right to
participate in its meetings as required by law; and
WHEREAS, a structured and well-run business meeting will instill an air of dignity and
professionalism to the public process which the citizens ofth'e community expect and deserve;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY'THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The order of business for regul,atpublic meetings of the City Council shall be as

Section 2. The order business for special meetings of the City Council shall be
determined by the Mayor and t e City Clerk. Each special meeting agenda shall provide a section
for public comments.
Section 3. This solution shall take effect on the effective date of City of Seward Ordinance
No. 96-09.
